Paris

Three-star kitchens, palace hotels on the Place Vendôme and the most rewarding forty-eight hours in Europe — arranged so you never queue for anything.

When to go

Year-round. Spring and September to November are loveliest; August is hot and half the city is shut. Fashion Weeks in March and October fill every good room.

Getting there

Charles de Gaulle 45 minutes by private chauffeur, Le Bourget for private aviation 25 minutes. Eurostar from London St Pancras is 2h20 city centre to city centre.

What we arrange

Hotels and chalets, private transfers and helicopters, restaurant reservations, guides, events and everything in between — on one WhatsApp thread.

Where to stay

The three we would book first.

Every hotel here is one we know personally. Tell us your dates and we will come back with availability, the right room category and any partner benefits that apply.

Things to do

Beyond the obvious.

01

Louvre before opening

A private curator-led hour with the Mona Lisa and the Venus de Milo before the public are admitted.

02

Palais Garnier evening

Opera or ballet in Charles Garnier's 1875 opera house, with a box and a supper booked afterwards.

03

Sainte-Chapelle at golden hour

Fifteen metres of 13th-century stained glass, best in late afternoon light and without the queue.

04

Marché aux Puces de Saint-Ouen

The world's largest antiques market, navigated with a dealer who knows which of the 1,700 stalls matter.

Insider note

Book restaurants before hotels. Paris's best tables open reservations exactly thirty days ahead and are gone within minutes; the hotel will always be findable.
