Megève

Rothschild-founded and quietly aristocratic, Megève pairs cobbled-village charm with three Michelin stars, horse-drawn sleighs and Mont Blanc views.

When to go

Ski season mid-December to early April; mid-January and March are calmest. Summer brings golf, hiking and the jazz festival.

Getting there

Geneva 1h15 by private chauffeur; Lyon 2h15. Megève Altiport receives helicopters and light aircraft — roughly 20 minutes from Geneva by helicopter.

What we arrange

Hotels and chalets, private transfers and helicopters, restaurant reservations, guides, events and everything in between — on one WhatsApp thread.

Things to do

Beyond the obvious.

01

Horse-drawn sleigh ride

Fur-blanketed calèche through the village and snowy lanes to the Calvaire — Megève's signature romantic outing.

02

Private ski guiding in the Évasion Mont-Blanc

445km of tree-lined pistes across Megève, Saint-Gervais and Combloux with a dedicated instructor.

03

Scenic helicopter flight around Mont Blanc

Sightseeing rotation from Megève Altiport over the Mer de Glace and the Aiguille du Midi.

04

Mont d'Arbois Golf Club

Henry Cotton's 1964 alpine course at 1,300m — summer-only and among Europe's most scenic 18 holes.

05

Private cookery class with a starred chef

Half-day masterclass and lunch in a chef's kitchen, arranged through our partner houses in the village.

Insider note

Ask for the Rochebrune side for quieter tree skiing; Mont d'Arbois is where the crowds and the see-and-be-seen lunches are.
