Monaco

A sovereign square mile of grand-prix tarmac, casino gilt and superyacht marina -- still the Riviera's most concentrated hit of glamour.

When to go

Year-round; the Formula 1 Grand Prix (May) and Monaco Yacht Show (September) are peak weeks booked a year out. July-August is hottest.

Getting there

Nice Côte d'Azur airport 30 minutes by road or 7 minutes by helicopter to Monaco's own heliport. No airport in Monaco itself.

What we arrange

Hotels and chalets, private transfers and helicopters, restaurant reservations, guides, events and everything in between — on one WhatsApp thread.

Blue Bay

Marcel Ravin's Caribbean-inflected fine dining at the Monte-Carlo Bay, over the lagoon.

1 Michelin star

Song Qi

Alain Ducasse's Pan-Asian table at Casino Square -- dim sum and Peking duck with a Riviera crowd.

Things to do

Beyond the obvious.

01

Casino de Monte-Carlo evening

The 1863 Belle Epoque gaming rooms -- jacket required, private salon access arranged for members.

02

Monaco Grand Prix

Trackside hospitality and balcony views over the world's most famous street circuit each May.

03

Prince's Palace changing of the guard

The daily 11:55am ceremony in the old town, with the Oceanographic Museum a short walk below.

04

Yacht day to Cap Ferrat and Beaulieu

A short cruise west along the coast for lunch at a beach club and a swim off the Cap.

Insider note

Book Grand Prix week eighteen months ahead -- hotels and restaurants sell out further in advance here than almost anywhere else in Europe.
